It goes without saying that the big spiky gates of BLUES NIGHT are still firmly locked at the moment.

Please be assured, however, that our supplies of beer and vinyl will not deteriorate (in fact, they're growing), and those gates will be open again some time soon, we hope.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves.

BLUES NIGHT is a musicosocial project and a special beery shed. It's a temple to the old-fashioned ideas that music brings people together, and that beer should be an inexpensive way of not drinking water.

We have thousands of vinyl albums and singles, shellac 78s (including blues, jazz, rock'n'roll, calypso, klezmer and international as well as vintage popular music), tapes, CDs, books and other music-related items.

Find us in a brilliant shed, on a lovely courtyard, off an elegant street, in a glorious town. Richmond is well worth a visit - a beautiful Georgian market town on the River Swale (there are waterfalls and everything) at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, just a few miles from the A1 near Scotch Corner.
